Summer Environmental Studies Scholarship
Established to encourage college students follow-
ing their freshman, sophomore, or junior year
who wish to pursue summer studies doing field work,
research, or classroom work in the environmental field.
The scholarship benefits young men and women who
are interested in furthering their studies and careers in
the field of ecology and offers an opportunity to gain
knowledge and experience beyond the regular course
of study. Work may award academic credit but should
be in addition to required courses. The GCA selects and
administers these awards.
